This site doesn't set any. That's the whole policy, but here's the detail anyway, because a page that just said "none" would look like it was hiding something.

NONE. NOT ONE.

No cookies. No analytics. No tracking pixels. No advertising tags. No session storage, no local storage, no fingerprinting, no heatmaps, no session recording, no "anonymous" identifier that stops being anonymous the moment somebody joins it to something else.

There's no consent banner because there's nothing to consent to. If a banner ever appears on this site, something has changed and this page will have changed with it.

I don't know how many people read this page. I've made my peace with that.

WHAT THE PAGE
DOES LOAD

2 things, and both are worth naming.

The typefacesThe 2 fonts come from Google. That request tells Google your IP address and the fact that a page on this site was opened. It sets no cookie and it carries no identifier. It's still a 3rd party seeing something, so it's listed here rather than left out.
The serverCloudflare serves the pages and has to see your IP address to send you one. It's the same information any web server anywhere has to have. No cookie is set by this site to do it.

WHERE COOKIES
DO TURN UP

The moment you leave this site, other people's rules apply. Nothing below happens on this site or under my control, but you should know where the line is.

  • The checkout. Buying anything takes you to ThriveCart at sales.theghost.rocks. That's their platform and it uses cookies to hold your basket and process the payment. Necessary ones, but theirs.
  • Booking a call. Calendly, on their domain, with their cookies.
  • The email signup. The form on this site is plain HTML. It sets nothing while you look at it. When you press the button it posts your address to Kit, and from that point Kit's policy applies.
  • Anything you click away to. LinkedIn and Substack are theirs, not mine, and LinkedIn in particular will know you arrived.

BLOCKING IT
ANYWAY

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most now block 3rd-party ones by default. Look under Settings, then Privacy.

Doing it won't break anything on this site, because there's nothing here that depends on it. It may well break the checkout, because most checkouts genuinely do need a cookie to know which basket is yours.

If you want to go further, a content blocker will stop the font request too. The site will fall back to a system typeface and look slightly less like itself. Nothing else changes.
